Coffee, lipstick & Jesus…these are a few of Denise’s favorites! She loves sharing life, love and hope and encouraging others to live life full throttle, leaning into God. Prior to radio, Denise had a musical career that included singing at the PTL Club in Charlotte, NC and touring the country with The Spurrlows and Sound of Joy over a four-year period. She and her husband, Ken, are the parents of two awesome young people, Cody and Abby; and proud grandparents, known as ‘Popi and LaLa’, to Cody’s daughter, Macey. Her radio career started in 1991 and she hasn’t “worked” a day since because she absolutely loves what she does. Denise also hosts the podcast “Over The Rims of Mugs” available anywhere you listen to podcasts. She writes a daily blog called “Treasured Inside” and has a book being published entitled, “Devotions With Denise”.
